Software/Web Development Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide. Scrum Masters do this by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the Squad. The Scrum Master helps those outside the Squad understand which of their interactions with the Scrum Team are helpful and which aren’t. The Scrum Master helps everyone change these interactions to maximise the value created by the Squad.

Facilitative servant leader.
Empowers the team to adhere to Scrum values.
Removes impediments to enable velocity.
Shields team from external influences / distractions.
Day-to-day coaching of team to improve effectiveness .
Helps the team increase velocity
Difference between ‘doing’ Agile & ‘being’ Agile.
Understands each Scrum role and can coach team accordingly.
Understands how to facilitate ceremonies to achieve key objectives.
Understands how to track product increments to increase velocity.
Works with team to adhere to Scrum values.
Understands prioritisation and estimation techniques.
