Some practical, every day examples of descriptive analytics would be determining the most popular travel destinations of 2019, or, more relative to texting, setting up parental controls on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/online.regiscollege.edu\/blog\/does-social-media-create-isolation\/\" rel=\"noopener\">social media to see your child\u2019s screen usage<\/a>\u00a0habits.\n\n\nPrescriptive analytics is utilize both descriptive and predictive analytics to determine the best courses of action for an individual or business. The first is simply ignoring the requested change, keeping the word as is, and moving on. This will tell your phone that you prefer the \u201cincorrect\u201d use, but will still view the word as \u201cincorrect\u201d at other, unrelated mentions.
